Croeso i wefan Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Penfro. Mae’r cyfnod yma yn gyffrous a phwysig i addysg cyfrwng Cymraeg yn Ne Sir Benfro a gwn fod disgyblion, staff, llywodraethwyr a rhieni sydd yn gysylltiedig â’r ffrwd Gymraeg yn Ysgol Gelli Aur yn disgwyl yn eiddgar i’r agoriad swyddogol a’r gorchwyl o symud i’r adeilad newydd anhygoel ym Medi 2024. Yn ystod 2023/24 fy rôl fydd cefnogi a rheoli'r holl brosesau sy'n gysylltiedig ag agor yr ysgol newydd. Gyda’n gilydd rydw i’n yn sicr y gallwn ddatblygu ysgol lwyddiannus a fydd yn rhoi’r cyfle i ddisgyblion ffynnu mewn cyd-destun Cymreig. Bydd y ffocws ar arloesi a rhagori ym mhob agwedd o’r gwaith dyddiol boed wrth gefnogi disgyblion o safbwynt eu helpu i wneud cynnydd yn academaidd neu o safbwynt cefnogi eu lles. Rydw i’n benderfynol bydd disgyblion Ysgol Bro Penfro yn falch o’u dwyieithrwydd, eu treftadaeth, eu cynefin a’u hysgol. Mae’n bwysig eich bod yn cael eich diweddaru’n rheolaidd ynglŷn â’r datblygiadau pwysig a fydd ynghlwm â’r prosiect ac rydw i’n hynod o falch felly bod gennym wefan a fydd yn caniatau i mi gysylltu gyda rhieni/gofalwyr, disgyblion a staff yn gyson yn ystod y misoedd nesaf. Er mwyn i ni lwyddo bydd angen i ni gydweithio a sicrhau ein bod yn datblygu partneriaeth gref.

Welcome to the Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Penfro website. This is an exciting time for Welsh medium education in South Pembrokeshire and I know that pupils, staff and parents currently associated with the Welsh stream at Ysgol Gelli Aur are eagerly awaiting the move to the fantastic new building in 2024. During 2023/24 my role will be to support and manage all of the processes linked to opening the new school. I am certain that together we can ensure that we develop a successful educational setting which will provide pupils with the opportunity to thrive and flourish in a fully Welsh medium setting. The focus will be on innovation and excellence in all aspects the school’s daily work whether supporting pupils from an academic perspective or from a well-being perspective. I want them to be proud of their language, their community and their school. It is important that you are regularly updated regarding progress and therefore I will endeavour to keep parents/carers, pupils and staff informed of any major developments and it is pleasing therefore that this new website will enable me to keep everybody informed regarding the preparations. To succeed we will need to work together and ensure that we develop a strong and purposeful partnership.
